Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Randomly (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Randomly is a real-time anonymous chat platform that connects verified users from the same organization for text and video conversations. Users are matched randomly and assigned anonymous identities for each session.
3. Eligibility
To use Randomly, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid phone number with WhatsApp
- Be affiliated with a verified organization on our platform
- Provide accurate information during registration
4. User Conduct
When using Randomly, you agree NOT to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users
- Share sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content
- Attempt to identify or dox anonymous users
- Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited promotional content
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to circumvent our moderation or security systems
- Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
5. Anonymity and Identity
During chat sessions, you are assigned a random anonymous name. Your real identity is not disclosed to your chat partner. You may optionally reveal your first name using the identity reveal feature — this requires mutual consent from both participants.
While we protect your anonymity from other users, you are still accountable for your behavior. Abuse of anonymity to harass or harm others will result in account action.
6. Reporting and Moderation
We provide tools to report inappropriate behavior. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We reserve the right to take action including warnings, temporary bans, and permanent account termination based on the severity of violations.
False or malicious reports may also result in action against the reporting user.
7. Organization Switching
You may change your organization, subject to the following restrictions: a 24-hour cooldown period between switches and a maximum of 2 organization changes per week. These limits exist to prevent abuse and maintain community integrity.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, or if required by law. You may also delete your account at any time through the platform.
9. Intellectual Property
The Randomly platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
Randomly is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to content shared by other users, service interruptions, or data loss.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform.
12. Contact
For questions about these Terms of Service, please contact us through the platform's reporting system or reach out to our support team.
